WebThis is one of my favorite trails in North Georgia! Trail is well maintained, but as others have mentioned, a lot of tree roots, so watch your footing. It’s 2.4 miles out and a very gradual elevation increase until the last .15 mile so I would say this is on the easy side of moderate. I’d only say moderate due to the length and the footing. WebBroad River Trail. This trail is excellent for novice hikers and family groups. 4.1 miles. Directions: Take GA 365 north from Cornelia. Take the Toccoa/Lavonia fork and stay on GA 365 for 1.5 miles. Turn right on Rock Road. Ga 0.7 mile and turn left onto Dick Hill Parkway. Go 2.4 miles and turn left on Forest Service Road 87.
