To be eligible for GP telehealth services patients must have had a face-to-face consultation with their GP or another GP in the same practice, in the 12 months before the telehealth service. WebGPs are not required to bulk bill the new telehealth item numbers, unless the service provided is for Commonwealth concession card holders, children under 16 years and patients who are more vulnerable to COVID-19.
