Even though your vehicle doesn't have many kilometers in the odometer, and the rear engine mount is probably the least likely to fail, I'd check your engine mounts, in particular the rear engine mount. It could explain a clunk when reversing. I'd also recommend checking your front end suspension and steering. WebJun 21, 2024 · Hi..i have a 2001 amazon 4.7ltr 50th annerversity with 90,000mls..it has just in the last month or so started to clunk when changing from reverse to drive,if i let it roll forward a little before shifting into drive it changes perfect with no noise..any idea if this is my auto box or has my front diff got play in it..i have try looking for play in the drive shft …
