WebI've tried using Photon Workshop to generate .pws files for print, but Chitubox is just so much easier to use and so much more versatile that I can't see myself switching over to Photon Workshop. Does anyone have a workflow set up to convert .photons files to .pws? WebHowever, in version 2.1.30 of Photon Workshop, you can add a custom printer AND change the file extension to pmx2 manually. This at least allowed me to slice files to be used by the X2 for now. Still fiddling with the settings, but at least it can move now. WebThat pwmo is the type file that chitubox wants to save the file in after slicing for a 'mono series' printer. Unfortunately my photon mono 4k does not see pwmo files and wants pwma files. So thats prolly where that question came from. Web1.- Added supports on Chitubox 2.- Validate the sliced files with the Photon File Validator (got around 500 layers) 3.- Tried getting a .pws with the Photon Workshop and well... I couldn't, tried to save it but it didn't do anything on the first try, tried again without closing it and it did save but for some reason the workshop crashed.

WebDec 5, 2024 · Unfortunately, it seems that my Mono X fails to load the pwx-files coming out of Chitubox. I figured that it must be due to the different file format (*.pwx instead of *.pwmx). I used the search function of this board and failed to find any posts regarding this issue. Do you have a patch/workaround for that? Best regards, Timo WebYou can still export the .STL from chitubox and load it up in lychee to convert it to .pwma but that can be a total pain if you're doing it every time. 1 nightmage8080 • 1 yr. ago The new file is .pwmb. Some people are able to just rename the pwma to pwmb and get it to work but likely there are a few changes which only happen in certain situations.

Same here - I assume its because mono printers have mono 4k screens as opposed to 2k lcd on the older printers. It's normal.
